American Golden Oak Two-Piece Buffet with Art Nouveau Leaded Glass Hutch - This two-piece buffet and hutch is constructed of oak with a medium-dark stained finish, dating to the late 19th or early 20th century. The upper hutch section is divided into three vertical compartments. The flanking side compartments contain clear glass doors, each housing two wooden shelves. The central compartment features a door with a leaded stained-glass panel depicting stylized Art Nouveau floral motifs in shades of green, purple, and blue. The hutch is accented with carved fan-shaped corbels. The lower base unit provides a flat oak work surface above a configuration of four central drawers arranged in a two-over-two layout. These drawers are flanked by two side cupboards featuring decorative relief carvings in a horseshoe pattern. The piece is fitted with ornate cast metal hardware, including drop-pull handles and keyhole escutcheons, with small metal turn-latches on the hutch doors. The back panels are constructed of a secondary wood. Faint, illegible markings are present on the wooden surface but do not provide a definitive attribution.
