Jacobean Revival Style Solid Oak Gateleg Drop Leaf Dining Table - This gateleg dining table is constructed from solid quarter-sawn oak with a dark-stained finish, featuring prominent medullary ray grain patterns throughout the wood. The table is designed in the Jacobean Revival style, characterized by its ring-and-block turned legs. The oval top consists of a fixed center section flanked by two semi-oval drop leaves. The base is supported by six legs, two of which are set on hinged gates that swing out to support the leaves when extended. The legs are joined by a low-profile box stretcher for added stability. No maker marks, stamps, or labels are present on the piece. A small white inventory sticker with the number 0165 is located on the edge of the tabletop.
