American Golden Oak Side-by-Side Display Cabinet with Etched Glass Door - This is a single-piece American side-by-side display and storage cabinet crafted from oak with a golden finish, dating to the early 20th century. The asymmetrical form features a tall display cupboard on the left and a vertical stack of four drawers on the right. The cupboard door is inset with a large glass pane featuring a complex acid-etched neoclassical design, centered by an oval medallion containing a profile portrait of a woman, flanked by urns and floral swags. The interior of the cupboard is fitted with three wooden shelves. The four drawers on the right are equipped with pairs of decorative brass-toned bail handles on ornate backplates. The cabinet door includes a matching brass escutcheon and is mounted on three butt hinges. A key with a decorative pink and cream tassel is present. The piece is finished with a simple crown molding and features a paneled wood back with visible pencil construction marks behind the drawer section. Height: 75” Width: 39” Depth: 16”.
