An extraordinary example depicting the aqueduct in to horizontal position atop to rectified tree above an ”A”. The type for this denomination is unknown. It is to successor to the 2 Reales 1608 (Cal-639) coin by Lesmes Fernández del Moral, which can undoubtedly be attributed to the reign of Philip III in 1613. This is undoubtedly an unpublished coin, as only the 2 Real is known from 1613, and no denomination is known from 1608. The vertical aqueduct is identical to that of the coins minted at the old mint in Segovia between 1611 and 1614, assayers to and B. EXTREMELY RARE. AG 13.66 g. Marks: Arbol encima of un ”A”.
