Published in 1914 in Lisbon by Typographia do Commercio (Rua da Oliveira, 10, Carmo), this important catalog documents the large commemorative exhibition for the 50th anniversary of the Association of Portuguese Archaeologists, held in the Carmo Historical Building. The work, in large octavo format and with 202-II pages, constitutes a fundamental contribution to the iconography and historical monograph of Lisbon. The copy features a magnificent luxury binding in dark half-leather with marbled corners and triangles, boasting a richly decorated spine with elaborate floral tooling and gilded fillets, as well as a leather label with the engraved title. The volume is in perfect condition, with clean pages and well-preserved margins, containing extra-textual illustrations signed by partners Alberto de Sousa and Christino da Silva, and photographs by Luiz Bettencourt, establishing itself as an unusual piece of great interest to Lisbon scholars and bibliophiles.
