Westclox Scotty Shock Resistant Pocket Watches - Two Westclox Scotty shock-resistant pocket watches in steel cases, each approximately 50mm in diameter. The first features a cream dial with black bold numerals, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o'clock; the second displays a black dial with luminous numerals and hands, also with subsidiary seconds. Both are marked Westclox Scotty Shock Resistant on the dial. The cases show natural aging consistent with vintage use; the cream-dialed example has a polished appearance with light surface wear, while the black-dialed example shows a textured case back and evidence of regular pocket carry. These were workhorse timekeepers designed for durability and shock resistance, popular with workers and travelers throughout much of the 20th century.
