Taxco Sterling Bracelet, Black Onyx Marcasite - Pair of substantial sterling silver bracelets from Taxco, Mexico's renowned silver center. The first features an ornate scrollwork design with polished spheres and swept curves in the Baroque revival style, hallmarked sterling on the reverse with maker's stamp visible. The second, not Taxco, is a more linear five-link design set with alternating black onyx cabochon stones framed by marcasite accent stones in beaded sterling mounts, clasp intact and functional. Together they measure approximately 7.5 to 8 inches in wearable length. Both show the hand-finished quality and substantial weight characteristic of mid-century Taxco production. DWT 23
