ATTRIBUTED TO ALBERT RYDER SEASCAPE OIL PAINTING - Attributed to Albert Pinkham Ryder (American, 1847 - 1917), marine oil painting on canvas depicting a solitary sailing vessel beneath a luminous full moon, the moonlight reflecting across tranquil waters in a moody nocturnal seascape. Executed in a restrained Tonalist palette and presented in a gilt wood frame. A typed inventory card accompanying the painting attributes the work to Albert Pinkham Ryder; however, the attribution has not been independently authenticated and is offered as such. MEASURES: 15 in x 26.25 in FRAME DIMENSIONS: 19 in x 29.75 in Condition: Overall good to fair antique condition with scattered craquelure and surface wear present consistent with age. Minor abrasions and scattered paint losses visible under close inspection. Canvas appears stable and remains on what is likely its original stretcher. Frame with expected wear, scuffs, and minor losses.
