On the title page there is a signature of Rabbi Ber Adler HaKohen.
Rabbi Dov Ber Adler HaCohen served as an adjudicator in Frankfurt am Main, he was the son of Rabbi Mordechai Adler, who was Av Beit Din in Hanover and cousin of the famous kabbalist Rabbi Nathan Adler of Frankfurt. Rabbi Nathan was rabbi of England and author of Netanyah LaGer. Known for his war against the Reform, in which he edited his friend R' Shlomo Trier's articles opposing them. Some of his Torah thoughts were printed by his brother Rabbi Gavriel Adler in the Kanfei Nesharim compilation in the book Lashon Zahav Offenbach 1823.
