Omer Hashich’cha. Livorno, 1748. Sefer Mishlei with commentary by Rabbi Avraham Gavishon of the exiled from Spain, along with poems and songs by the author, his family and illustrious Rishonim. Rabbi Avraham Gavishon was among the first exiled from Spain who wandered to Algeria, and was numbered as one of the great scholars of Tlemcen and a doctor in the royal court of the Algerian monarch. Among the songs and poems printed at the end of this sefer is a poem by the Ibn Ezra written to Rabbeinu Tam, and Rabbeinu Tam’s honorable response to him; a long poem by the Rivash; and more.
