Asaf Hamzkir. Venice, 1675. First Edition. Sefer Asaf Hamzkir,   commentaries on essays in Talmudic aggadahs, according to the order in Ein Yaakov, by Rabbi Zecharya Porto. Among others, the author refers to ancient works who names have almost been forgotten. The book was published by the Bnei Talmud Torah Society of Rome, after the author's passing (according to his last will). Rabbi Zecharya Porto (Otzar Harabbanim 5582): an Italian sage, Rav of Florence and Rome. A wealthy man and philanthropist who supported many communities. Passed away in 1675. The title page has beautiful illustrations. Size : 19.5 cm Pages : [4] 300. Condition: Very fine condition, some stains, new binding.
