Segulah: Kabbalistic Teachings Handwritten by the Holy Rabbi Yitzchak Isaac of Ziditchov. On this large page from Midrash Rabbah, Rabbi Yitzchak Isaac of Ziditchov wrote with his holy hands a kabbbalistic commentary on the Medarsh bringing down explanations on Chazal according to the teachings of the Ari and his uncle Rabbi Tzvi Hirsh of Zidichov. On this particular page he quotes the the writings of the Ar”i haKadosh. This work on the midrash was especially important to the author, and in his will he requested that this book be printed first of all his books. It is known that Rabbi Yitzchak Isaac wrote his Divrei Torah with tremendous holiness and purity, adorned with his tallis and tefillin. The Admo”r himself attributed powers of holiness to his writings as quoted by his close disciple, the Imrei Yosef of Spinka: ”Once, the Admor…inserted a kvittel in his own handwritten sefer and said with his pure and holy mouth from there (the writings) every person could attain salvation for children, life and livelihood.” (Imrei Yosef’s preface to Chiddushei Mahar”i). Rabbi Yitzchak Isaac of Ziditchov (1805-1873) disciple of his uncles the holy Ateres Zvi of Ziditchov and the holy Rabbi Moshe of Sambir, who spoke wonders about the greatness and holiness of his soul. Likewise all the Tzaddikim of his generation admired and revered his name and memory. Thousands from all over the country and it's surroundings flocked to his holy courtyard to be inspired by his abundance of Torah and Yiras Shamayim, blessings and salvation.
