Nachal Yitzchak, novellae and commentaries on Shulchan Aruch Choshen Mishpat [and Even HaEzer], Part I, by R. Yitzchak Elchanan [Spektor] Rabbi of Kovno.  R. Yitzchok Elchonon Spektor (1817-1896), was renowned for his Torah genius, diligence and righteousness. He was the supreme Torah authority of his generation and led Lithuanian and Russian Jewry for many years with perception and wisdom. He served in the Rabbinate from 1837. In 1864, he was appointed to the distinguished position as Rav of Kovno. His responsa and novella were printed in Be’er Yitzchok, Nachal Yitzchok and Ein Yitzchok. Size : 32 cm Pages : [8] 358. Condition: Good condition. Stains. Large stain to title page. At the top of leaf [2], lengthy dedication handwritten and signed by the author, to R. Dov Aryeh Ritter Rabbi of Rotterdam.
