Sefer ”Mizrachi” al HaTorah by the Re'em. Krakow, 1595. With Map. Sefer Elyah Mizrachi, known as ”Peirush HaMizrachi.” Most fundamental and important work on Rash”i's commentary, by the leading rabbi of Turkey in his generation, Chacham Bashi Rabbi Eliyahu Mizrachi - the Re'em. Thick volume, on all of Chamishah Chumshei Torah. Yitzchak of Prostitz Press. Krakow, 1595. The section on Parashat Masei (page 280b) bears a large sketch of the boundaries of the Land of Israel - one of the first printed maps of the Land of Israel. This sefer is considered the primary commentary on Rash”i. Due to the importance of this commentary, some later books of commentary on Rash”i became supercommentaries in addition, on Rabbi Eliyahu Mizrachi's commentary (for example, an abbreviated form of the sefer appears in the sefer Siftei Chachamim with the commentary by the Mahara”l of Prague; and also Sefer Zichron Moshe, Lublin 1611 - a work on commentaries by Rash”i and the Mizrachi, by the Maharsh”a's father-in-law).
