Classic: Pnei Yehoshua, Amsterdam, 1739, First edition. Part Two -  on tractates Ketubos, Gittin, Kidushin. Amsterdam 1739. Rabbi Yaakov Yehoshua Falk (Yehoshua Falk (1681-1756), disciple of the Chacham Tzvi. Rabbi of Lvov, Berlin, Metz and Frankfurt. First edition of the famous novaelle of one of the greatest commentators on the Talmud, Rashi and Tosefot. Chiddushei Pnei Yehoshua have subsequently been printed in many editions, and they are learnt in study houses throughout the Jewish Diaspora, from then until the present day. The author published his novaelle in his lifetime, first part two, Amsterdam 1739, later Part one, Amsterdam 1752, and part three Frankfurt am Main, 1756.
