K’nesses HaGedolah on Orach Chaim, Kushta, 1729. Signature of Rabbi Moshe Yeruchum Morgenstern of Kotzk R. Chaim Benveniste (1603-1673), was born in Constantinople and in his youth studied under R. Yosef of Trani among others. He served as Rav in Tirah, near Izmir, and then in Izmir itself. His seforim were received to tremendous acclaim and the CHIDA famously recommended that these commentaries be consulted prior to rendering any halachic decision. R' Moshe Yeruchum Morgenstern , was a grandson of the famed R. Mendel of Kotzk. The Kotzker’s youngest son, R. Moshe Yeruchum, passed away young, leaving a young widow who shortly thereafter gave birth to a son who was named Moshe Yeruchum after his father.  Size : 28 cm Pages: [2] 144 [7] Condition : Overall in fine condition, few small damages and few worm holes.
