Sefer Pri HaAdamah, Salonika 1752, First edition. Personal Copy of Rabbi Yisrael of Husiatyn. Sefer Pri HaAdamah [volume 1], containing chiddushim on the Yad HaChazakah of the Rambam, authored by the Rishon LeTzion, Rabbi Raphael Meyuchas ben Shmuel, described in his time as ”meyuchas sheba’edah” – ”the most noble of the generation.” On the title page there is a stamp of the Otzar HaSefarim of the holy Admor Rabbi Yisrael of Husiatyn, of the Ruzhin dynasty of Rebbes. The Admor Rabbi Yisrael of Husiatyn (1858-1949), of the Ruzhin Rebbes, was revered as a miracle-worker. The only grandson of the Rebbe of Ruzhin who made aliyah to Eretz Yisrael, it was said that one could tangibly see his Ruach Hakodesh, as was with the Rebbes of the previous generations. In 1894, he assumed the leadership of Husiatyn after the passing of his father, Rabbi Mordechai Feivish, son of Rabbi Yisrael of Ruzhin. During World War I, he fled to Vienna, and in 1937 he immigrated to Eretz Yisrael, where he was considered one of the senior Rebbes of his time.
