White - red enamel teapot, made by Oskar Schindler's factory.

Oskar Schindler was a German industrialist, a member of the Nazi Party and a follower of the nations of the world.
In September 1939, Schindler moved to Krakow, Poland in search of business opportunities after the Nazi occupation. In October he took over an enamel factory in Zablocie, near Krakow. Before the Nazi occupation, the factory was owned by a Jew named Natan Wurzel. In addition, he took over a houseware store that sold the products of that factory and was originally owned by another Jew - Julius Wiener. Due to the outbreak of the war, the production of pots and pans was forbidden, due to the lack of metals. Schindler produced in his factory, the "German Enamel Factory" (Die Deutsche Emailwarenfabrik, DEF), tin dinnerware and cutlery coated with enamel and sold them to the Wehrmacht.
In his factory - which was recognized as an essential factory - he employed many Jewish workers and thus saved them from deportation and death.
After the war, a request was received to recognize Schindler as a follower of the nations of the world, but Wiener's son - the owner of the tool shop that Schindler took over - intervened and thus the request was rejected.
He was recognized as a follower of the nations of the world after his death, when it was decided in repeated discussions that his good deeds tipped the scales in his favor.
