Brandt The U-boat U32, part of the Mediterranean Flotilla, carried out several successful missions in the Mediterranean during World War I. Hermann Brandt was killed on April 14, 1918, during a risky combat mission. U32, under the command of Lieutenant Commander Kurt Albrecht, was involved in sinking numerous enemy ships before it was likely lost due to enemy fire. April 1918 während eines riskanten Kampfeinsatzes. U32, unter dem Kommando von Kapitänleutnant Kurt Albrecht, war an der Versenkung von zahlreichen feindlichen Schiffen beteiligt, bevor es wahrscheinlich durch feindlichen Beschuss verloren ging.
