2 Photo Albums Flak Regiment 13 & F.A.S. Wustrow (1935-1938) - High-quality military estate set from the rearmament phase of the Wehrmacht, consisting of two photo albums with a very high density of technical and contemporary historical imagery. 1) The blue album (24 pages, 27 x 19 cm) bears the title ”1. Batterie Flakregiment 13” and documents the period from 1935 to 1937 in detail. It begins with the swearing-in on Nov 7, 1935, followed by winter exercises in the Erzgebirge (February 1936) with half-track vehicles as well as a stay at the Flak Artillery School (F.A.S.) Wustrow on the Darß peninsula (1936). Technically highly interesting are the photos of training on special equipment: Shown are ring funnel direction listeners (acoustic location), heavy rangefinders, searchlight batteries in night action, muzzle flash photos, and flight target service with biplanes (including target towing for the Flak). A historical highlight is the page about the visit of high-ranking figures to the F.A.S. casino: A photo is captioned ”The Führer, Field Marshal Blomberg, Colonel General Göring in the Casino of the F.A.S.”. Batterie Flakregiment 13“ und dokumentiert detailliert den Zeitraum 1935 bis 1937. Es beginnt mit der Vereidigung am 7.11.1935 und zeigt im Anschluss Winterübungen im Erzgebirge (Februar 1936) mit Halbkettenfahrzeugen sowie den Aufenthalt an der Flakartillerieschule (F.A.S.) Wustrow auf dem Darß (1936). Der Schwerpunkt liegt hier auf Wintermanövern mit schwerem Gerät (Geschütze, Zugmaschinen im Schnee) und dem Bahntransport der Einheit. Ein kulturhistorisch herausragendes Einzelbild ist das Schaufenster des Ladengeschäfts „Schober“ mit dem großen Plakat: „Wegen Einberufung bis auf weiteres geschlossen“ – ein seltenes Dokument, das die Auswirkungen der Wehrpflicht auf den zivilen Mittelstand drastisch vor Augen führt.
