The 1944–1945 edition is the final volume in this series and is considered particularly rare, as the print run was greatly reduced due to wartime conditions. The publication reflects Himmler's propagated reinterpretation of Christmas as the Germanic ”Yule Festival”. It was printed by F. Bruckmann KG, Munich.
