Traditional Long Pipe with Painted Porcelain Bowl - Pipe with a curved horn mouthpiece, cylindrical wooden stem, and white-glazed porcelain bowl. The porcelain bowl features polychrome painting with student motifs: crossed sabers, a hat, playing cards, as well as lines of text and the depiction of a beer barrel. The metal cover with a hinged brass wind cap. Included in the lot is a separate painted porcelain middle section of a reservist's pipe showing an equestrian scene and the inscription ”Zur Erinnerung an meine Dienstzeit” (In memory of my service time), along with a stag horn rosette. Age-appropriate condition with slight signs of wear on the porcelain. L. 77 cm. German Description Gesteckpfeife mit bemaltem Porzellankopf Pfeife mit gebogenem Hornmundstück, zylindrischem Holzrohr und weißglasiertem Porzellankopf. Der Porzellankopf trägt eine polychrome Bemalung mit studentischen Motiven: gekreuzte Säbel, Hut, Spielkarten sowie Textzeilen und die Darstellung eines Bierfasses. Der Metalldeckel mit scharniertem Messing-Windfang. Dem Los beigelegt ein separates bemaltes Porzellan-Zwischenstück einer Reservistenpfeife mit Reiterszene und der Inschrift „Zur Erinnerung an meine Dienstzeit” sowie einer Hirschhornrose. Altersgemäßer Zustand mit leichten Gebrauchsspuren am Porzellan. L. 77 cm.
