The brass body is engraved with the manufacturer name, location, the date 1945, and serial number 8219. It also bears the military Broad Arrow mark and the designation PATT. 373B. The telescope features a heavily textured black grip and a brass draw tube with an engraved numerical focusing scale. The optical system includes an objective lens and an eyepiece.
