Item Overview
Description:
Garaged - This 1976 Chevrolet LUV is a first-generation light utility vehicle manufactured by Isuzu Motors Ltd. in Japan for Chevrolet. The vehicle is finished in yellow and features a color-matched custom integrated canopy manufactured by International Mfg. Co. in December 1976. The exterior is equipped with a chrome front bumper, a quad-headlight grille with a central Chevrolet bowtie emblem, LUV fender badges, and a tailgate featuring black Chevrolet block lettering. It rides on steel wheels fitted with Supreme star-logo center caps and Yokohama All Season M+S tires. The interior is trimmed in tan and brown vinyl and features a bench seat, a four-speed manual transmission with a floor-mounted shifter, and a Sanyo radio with a full auto eject cassette player. The dashboard includes a 100-mph speedometer with a five-digit odometer and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. Identification is provided by a chassis plate in the door jamb listing VIN CLN1358253134 and a secondary manufacturer decal from International Mfg. Co. The lot includes two keys and vintage Washington state license plates.
Clear, Clean Title. Easy driveway for towing away. Any parts in the garage that correlate to the vehicle go with the truck.
We don't know when the last time he drove this car - it's been housed inside the garage and the engine looks kept up - please see images. We did not try to start the truck.
GVWR: 3950 lbs
Odometer: 58,232 miles.
This vehicle is in unrestored and very original condition - owned by a Boeing engineer, it was kept inside his garage and worked on by him - it was his favorite vehicle for fishing, camping and hunting for many years. It has not been driven in awhile, so we did not attempt to start it up. The tires are low - the interior had a slip cover on the seats, but we removed it to show you the original seat and current condition. The windshield is cracked on the driver side. The custom canopy exhibits weathered rubber seals and a deteriorating textured finish. The interior is in poor condition; the vinyl bench seat is heavily torn with exposed foam and springs, the dashboard is cracked near the defrost vents, and the floor mats are worn through. The engine and mechanical systems have not been tested. Tires are aged and mismatched, with the driver-side rear tire being completely flat from just sitting inside the garage. Please review all images for condition and reach out with questions - we will do our best to answer them.
