Rare 1962 Volkswagen Bug Beetle - Restoration Opportunity! - This 1962 Volkswagen Beetle is a two-door sedan restoration candidate with rebuilt engine (see all images - by Boeing mechanic). The vehicle is identified by the hand-scribed chassis number 6477124 located on the front apron. The exterior is finished in a faded pale yellow or light green paint, while the front hood and fenders are currently coated in dark gray primer. The interior is appointed with black textured vinyl upholstery and a white two-spoke steering wheel. The cabin features a floor-mounted four-speed manual transmission and a three-pedal configuration. Dashboard instrumentation consists of VDO components, including a separate fuel gauge and a speedometer with a five-digit odometer.
