This lot contains a Lithograph Reproduction The Drinking King By David Teniers The Younger. Printed in Spain. Direct Lithographic Reproduction from the original printed on specially manufactured paper. Series number 5491. Teniers was born in Antwerp, Belgium, and was trained by his father, David Teniers the Elder (1582-1649). He is known as one of the most famous 17th-century painters of peasant life. He passed away at the age of 79 in 1690. The print is approx 18 1/4" x 21 1/4" and it weighs about 1.4oz. Overall the print is in good used condition with some wear from use over time. There are some rips and holes along the edges. There are some light stains and signs of discoloration from aging. Please reference all of the photographs as they are a part of the description.
