Alexander Alexandrovich Yenin (b. 1975). Evening. 2018. - Oil on canvas. 72 × 72 cm. Alexander Alexandrovich Yenin (born 1975) is a Russian painter, graphic artist, educator, and Associate Professor. He serves as Head of the Department of Painting and Drawing at the Far Eastern State Institute of Arts and is a member of the Union of Artists of Russia. Yenin graduated from the Far Eastern State Academy of Arts and has established himself as a prominent representative of contemporary art in the Russian Far East. He regularly participates in regional, national, and international exhibitions, presenting works distinguished by their refined painterly language and strong compositional structure. His works are held in the collection of the Primorye State Art Gallery as well as in private collections in Russia and abroad. The painting Evening has been exhibited in collective exhibitions organized by the Union of Artists of Russia, including exhibitions at the V. P. Sukachev Irkutsk Regional Art Museum, and has also been shown internationally in China and Uzbekistan. Combining academic training with a contemporary sensibility, Alexander Yenin’s work demonstrates a thoughtful engagement with colour, atmosphere, and pictorial form. His paintings reveal a keen sensitivity to mood and light, transforming everyday motifs into contemplative visual experiences.
