Svetlana Viktorovna Firyulina (born 1987) is a Russian painter and graphic artist. She is a member of the Youth Association of the Primorye Regional Branch of the Union of Artists of Russia. Firyulina graduated from the Far Eastern State Institute of Arts and works across both painting and graphic media. Her artistic practice demonstrates a particular interest in narrative imagery, historical themes, and the interpretation of literary sources through contemporary visual language. Her works are represented in private collections in Russia and abroad. This work forms part of a series of illustrations inspired by Memoirs of a Trans-Amur Sailor: Life in Vladivostok, 1861 by E. S. Burachek, a significant historical account documenting the early years of Vladivostok and the Russian Far East. Through a contemporary artistic interpretation of the text, Firyulina reimagines episodes from the city's formative period, creating a visual dialogue between historical memory and the present day. The work has been exhibited in collective exhibitions organized by the Primorye Regional Branch of the Union of Artists of Russia.
