Svetlana Viktorovna Firyulina (born 1987) is a Russian painter and graphic artist. She is a member of the Youth Association of the Primorye Regional Branch of the Union of Artists of Russia. Firyulina graduated from the Far Eastern State Institute of Arts and works in both painting and graphic art. Her creative practice is distinguished by an interest in narrative imagery, historical memory, and the reinterpretation of literary and documentary sources through contemporary visual means. Her works are held in private collections in Russia and abroad. This work belongs to the series of illustrations inspired by Memoirs of a Trans-Amur Sailor: Life in Vladivostok, 1861 by E. S. Burachek. The series is based on one of the earliest firsthand accounts of Vladivostok’s formative years and offers a visual interpretation of the city’s historical beginnings. Through a combination of graphic expressiveness and imaginative reconstruction, Firyulina creates images that connect documentary history with contemporary artistic reflection. The work has been exhibited in collective exhibitions organized by the Primorye Regional Branch of the Union of Artists of Russia.
