Timkov Nikolai Efimovich (1912-1993). Russian impressionism. Honored Artist of the RSFSR. A student of I. Brodsky. After the death of the master, more than a thousand of his paintings were taken to the United States, catalogs of his works were published there and dozens of exhibitions were held. The master's paintings are in the collections of the Hermitage, the State Russian Museum, the State Tretyakov Gallery, museums and private collections in the United States and Europe.
