Raymer Society will be auctioning art from the estate of Hal Wright of McPherson, KS. Over 250 lots will be on live and silent auction. 


The artworks may be previewed at the Red Barn Studio Museum 212 S. Main St. Lindsborg, KS from January 23th- 25th. Artworks will also be on display day of the auction on January 27th, 2024 at Trinity United Methodist Church, 224 S. Main St. Lindsborg, KS. Doors open at 9:00 AM, Auction begins at 10:00 AM.

Runbeck, Lucille (1921-?) untitled Kansas field, watercolor, signed lower right, good condition, image size: 9.5 x 13.5 inches. Lucille Almgren Runbeck (1898-?) born in McPherson, KS, graduated from McPherson High School. She taught art in Lindsborg and Canton public schools. Runbeck is a graduate of Kansas University Art Department and taught two years in Topeka at Washburn Mulvane Art museum and was later Supervisor of Art in Emporia Public Schools. Known for ceramics and painting, she made Lindsborg, KS her home after marriage to Art Runbeck.
