Kenyah Saung Sun Hat - This is a beaded panel from Central Kenyah; it is a sun hat known as saung. Origin is from Sarawak and Kalimantan in Borneo. Materials from palm leaves, rattan, and beads. It is a traditional symbol of Baram region, worn by men and women in Kenyah weddings. D: 18”. Condition: Good condition with minor creasing or distortion from prolonged storage or use and loosen thread over time.
