Vintage Rolinx Bakelite Roll-Top Cigarette Dispenser with Five Individual Holders - A vintage Rolinx Bakelite roll-top cigarette dispenser, dating from the late 1930s to early 1940s based on visible patent information. Constructed from cream-colored early plastic, likely Bakelite, it features a tambour front mechanism with a small pull handle, accented by contrasting dark brown or maroon plastic panels on the top and sides. When opened, the dispenser reveals an internal compartment designed to hold five slender, individual cigarette or cigar holders, also made of the matching cream-colored plastic. The base is clearly embossed with ”Rolinx PRODUCT”, ”MADE IN ENGLAND”, ”PROV. PAT. 10820/38 & 6W2034”, ”U.K. PATENT 509210”, and ”U.S.A. FOR. PAT. PEND.”. The dispenser also includes its original textured brown cardboard outer box.
