The exterior displays prominent stenciled inscriptions in white and yellow paint, including ”105 FD NOR” on the lid, and on one side, ”2 CART FD L35A1,” ”N 017,” ”N/S 123-043,” ”N/S 164-048,” ”107A, ” ”105 NORMAL IN CHRS, ” and ”GD3-71 PRIM L10A1.” The interior, also of distressed metal, has been lined with dark red fabric or felt on the side walls and within four rectangular recessed compartments on the bottom. The box has been modified with four small caster wheels attached to its base corners. The exterior exhibits a heavily distressed and weathered appearance, with significant paint loss, surface rust, and patina, revealing remnants of an original green paint finish. It features a hinged lid secured by a central latch and two side clasps, and is equipped with wire-rod carrying handles on opposing sides. Internally, the box contains a main compartment and a lift-out tray with two sub-compartments. Faint, stamped alphanumeric markings, appearing to read 'NVG' (or potentially 'ANT.
