One is signed. - A pair of vintage Kokeshi bride and groom bobble head dolls, one is signed, crafted from painted wood in a folk art style. Each doll features a simplified cylindrical body and an articulated head, depicting a male and female figure in traditional East Asian-style attire. The female doll is dressed in a green and white garment, accented with an orange fabric ribbon sash at the back, and wears a flat, round black hat adorned with a flower. The male doll is attired in a blue and yellow costume with a black top hat. Both figures display hand-painted stylized facial features and are decorated with repeating floral motifs in red, white, and yellow. A red, hand-painted character, possibly an artist's signature or the character '壽' (shou, meaning longevity), is present on the blue section of the male doll.
