A Capodimonte 'Bello Adorno' ceramic lidded compote, marked 'DOMACCIO'. Executed in a Rococo-revival style, likely dating from the 20th century, the piece features a pale pink body adorned with extensive hand-applied polychrome floral garlands, depicting roses, smaller blossoms, and ribbon bows. The domed lid displays a white reticulated basket-weave pattern, topped with a central floral finial, and is also decorated with similar flora. The vessel is supported by a flared pedestal base with four scrolling feet, highlighted with gold-painted accents. The underside of the base is marked with a crowned ”N” over ”CAPODIMONTE, ” ”ITALY, ” and the name ”DOMACCIO.” Height: 23.5 cm
