A vintage Rank Strand stage spotlight, featuring a heavy, spherical olive-green painted metal housing and a concentric-ring Fresnel glass lens. The robust construction includes a metal yoke, an adjustable tightening knob, and a metal clamp-style hanging bracket with a partially visible label indicating ”MADE IN ENGLAND”. A rectangular, possibly copper or brass, latch secures the top of the housing. The lamp is fitted with a dark, rubberized power cord terminating in an older style three-pin brass plug.
