The clock is housed in a dark-stained wooden case with an arched top and a rectangular, stepped base. The front presents a brass-toned dial with black Arabic numerals and hands, enclosed by a brass bezel and a glass cover. The rear of the clock has a hinged wooden access door, revealing a brass movement extensively decorated with a wavy pattern, visibly marked in script ”Patent, ” ”Deutsche Reichs-Gebrauchsmuster, ” ”Baduf, ” and ”D.R.G.M.” alongside the number ”24377.” The movement includes chime rods and is accompanied by a separate, tarnished brass pendulum bob.
