An irregularly shaped wood slice or medallion, cut from a tree trunk, crafted from yew wood. The piece exhibits prominent concentric growth rings and natural bark along its undulating perimeter, featuring dark brown heartwood and lighter sapwood. Inscribed on its surface in black marker are the English phrases ”Wood from a 2,000 yr old Yew tree in Pennant Churchyard” and ”Millennium 2000,” alongside the Welsh phrase ”Eglwys Santes Melangell, ” which translates to ”St. Melangell's Church.” This piece serves as a commemorative item from around the year 2000.
