A Late 19th Century Chinese Cantonese Famille Rose porcelain footed bowl, featuring vibrant polychrome enamel decoration. The interior and exterior are adorned with alternating cartouches: two depict scenes with multiple figures in traditional attire within architectural settings with checkered floors, while the other two display dense floral arrangements with butterflies. These cartouches are set against a gilded, scrolling foliage ground accented with smaller butterflies. The bowl's rim has a continuous decorative border and a gilded edge, and the footrim is a contrasting light blue band. The base features a red rectangular seal mark with four Chinese characters, which translate to ”Longevity, Prosperity, Health, and Peace” (壽祿康寧), along with a smaller printed mark ”12-10.” Diameter: 25 cms
