An antique upright spinning wheel, primarily constructed from turned wood displaying varying medium to dark brown tones and a developed patina. Key components include a large drive wheel, a foot treadle system at the base connected to the drive wheel, and an upper flyer and bobbin assembly. Some parts, particularly the flyer and bobbin, appear darker, possibly ebonized or heavily stained. The design features decoratively turned uprights and legs.
