A pair of antique cast iron smelting glue pots. Each pot is fitted with a simple arched iron bail handle attached to integrated lugs on the rim. The forms are utilitarian, consisting of a larger, squat, rounded-body pot and a smaller, similarly shaped pot that also features small visible feet. The interior of the larger pot appears empty, while the smaller one contains a dark, possibly charred, residue and a yellow-stained or painted stick-like object.
