A 19th Century brass carriage lamp, primarily constructed from brass with glass panels. The lamp features a prominent oval clear glass lens at the front, housing a reflector, and square clear glass panels on the sides. The rear of the lamp is fitted with a small, circular red glass lens. It is surmounted by a vented dome top with a finial-style cap. A long, tapering tubular base extends downwards, designed for mounting. Internally, a wick holder for an oil or kerosene mechanism is visible.
