A cream-colored composite figurine by A. Belcari for DEAR Studio, dated 1985, depicting a standing female figure in Art Deco or 1920s fashion. The figure, possibly made of alabaster dust resin, wears a flapper-style headband, a long dress with a dropped waist and fringed hem, long gloves, and a lengthy beaded necklace. She holds a feathered fan in her left hand and a boa-like accessory in her right. Subtle hand-painted facial features include blue eyes and rosy cheeks. The figurine is mounted on an octagonal polished wooden base. The base of the figure bears the engraved signature ”V. BALCANI” on the front and ”© 1985 DEAR” on the rear. Height: 26 cms.
