Bidspirit auction | A mid-20th-century silver-plated oval gallery

A mid-20th-century silver-plated oval gallery tray manufactured by Cavalier in England. The tray features an intricately chased interior surface decorated with foliate, floral, and scrollwork motifs surrounding a central unengraved oval cartouche. The raised, pierced gallery rim is finished with a beaded edge. Two integrated handles are accented with shell style motifs. The underside is supported by four ball feet and bears the stamped maker mark: SILVER PLATED CAVALIER MADE IN ENGLAND.
