A circular decorative shallow bowl of Northern Indian origin, used as a display piece. Dating from the late 19th to early 20th century. The object is made from copper and decorated using a multi-metal inlay and overlay technique. This style, frequently termed Ganga-Jamuna work, utilises contrasting copper and white metal (possibly silver or tin) to create a polychromatic design against the darker ground.
