Bidspirit auction | A Victorian English fireplace bellows

A Victorian English fireplace bellows constructed from hand-carved oak and dark brown leather. The front panel and upper handle feature deep foliate and scrollwork decoration. The leather pleats are secured to the oak frame with brass dome-headed studs. A decorative woven leather section is situated near the nozzle. The piece is finished with a turned brass nozzle. The reverse of the bellows features a central air intake hole and a hanging hole at the top of the handle.
