Bidspirit auction | A vintage wooden tennis racket

A vintage wooden tennis racket manufactured by Dunlop, the Panther model. The racket features a laminated wooden frame with a decorative decal on the throat depicting a crouching feline above the word PANTHER. Below the model name, the cursive text reads Specially made by Dunlop. The racket is strung with aged gut strings and retains a black textured grip. It is presented within a trapezoidal wooden press secured by metal wing nuts. The press features a circular maker mark for Bussey London on one of the crossbars. A handwritten name, FRAIN-BED, is inscribed on the side of the wooden press frame.
