A novelty miniature hearth set comprising a brass stand and two hanging tools. The stand features a weighted, circular stepped base and a tubular central stem supporting a crossbar. It is surmounted by a cast brass finial depicting a grinning cat figure, resembling the Cheshire Cat, wearing a bow tie and seated atop a brickwork chimney. The set includes a pair of tongs and a hearth brush. Height: approximately 32 cm.
