Bidspirit auction | Two vintage rise-and-fall ceiling pendant

Two vintage rise-and-fall ceiling pendant lights, in the style of 1970s European lighting designs. The first item comprises a large white opaline glass shade with a wide, ruffled lower rim. It is constructed with a turned wood central finial and a matching pull-handle, accented with brass-toned metal components. The lamp features a coiled extensible cable mechanism and a brass-toned canopy. The second item consists of an ovoid white opaline glass shade decorated with transfer-printed floral sprigs in pink and brown tones. This lamp is fitted with a black plastic rise-and-fall mechanism and a coiled cable. It contains a standard bayonet bulb holder. Shade diameter (large): 42cm.
